30 Days of Creativity~Day 29

Lovely, gentle snow…outlining the trees.

After I went skiing, I took these pictures.

The beauty of every day...what do you see outside today?
Icicles hanging, glittering against the black velvet of nightfall.

30 Days of Creativity~Day 26

Safety Pin

Activity: Find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Look around your home for a household item you see/use regularly. Really take a look at it. How was it made? Where was it made? Could you make one? What was involved in the process of creating this?

I found the safety pin above as I was re-attaching my son's lunch box handle. I stopped. Took a look. And really remembered that I find safety pins extraodinary. What about you?

30 Days of Creativity~Day 21

Overload
How often do you say...."I am so BUSY!"  What is causing the overload?  Where can you "let go" of some of the busy-ness?

Breathe...I am slowing down on sending posts out on time...why?  Did not follow my own routine.  I let the overload win...and my creativity took the hit.  So, back to my planning and schedule that includes "Be Creative".  (the next post will give you the method I use...*sigh*)

30 Days of Creativity~Day 10

Noticing...Snowflak, wondering about miracles

When someone says to me “There is no magic or miracles in this world.” I think about snowflakes.

If each one is unique, and each is intricately beautiful, how are they made? And when the snow blankets the yard…there are billions of them. How can this be?

So…I say, yes, there are miracles and magic…and wonder and mysteries every day. We just need to take a moment to notice and believe.

Snowflakes…little miracles.

Are you ready? Let's get creative!

Each day I will send you a post from this blog. Comment in the area below the post and let us know how you spent some time creating or add your blog link in the Mr. Linky area provided!

Remember that creativity means something different to everyone. The purpose of 30 Days of Creativity is to connect with others who wish to observe how creativity fits into their day. Feel free to ask questions and give your views on what it means to you to be creative.

Also, each day I will give you a short activity. When you have one of those days where you just don't "feel" creative, you can try one of the activities to get your thinking charged. Share what you discover!

If you have a blog or a link to your photos, feel free to add it in the comment area.

Activity: Word Play! Write a sentence that describes you. Change the words around in the sentence. Read each new sentence aloud to yourself. What do you notice?

Example: I create works of Visual Art.
I work on visual art creations. I visualize work creatively. Creating is visual art...I work. Visual Arts creates work (for) I (me). Of I, works visual, create art. Working, I create visual art.
